Our annual event is back! But to paraphrase the timeless words of LL Cool J, Don’t call it a comeback, we’ve been here for years…

Literally! We’ve been here for more than 50 years!

Whether you supported our virtual fundraising during the hardest times of social distancing, joined our community of supporters during Give!Guide, or have been here from the beginning, you are a vital part of our community. Together, we’ve been pushing the movement for equitable education forward every way we can.

COVID can and does do a lot of harm, but it can’t destroy our sense of community. We’re always here for you and our students!

Nonetheless, after three years of virtual events, we are excited to announce that we finally get to have fun while fundraising, in person!

Why is this a can’t-miss event?

Because it’s the only one by and for our entire community.

Students, teachers, program leaders, volunteers, donors, and others will all be gathered in one place!

Why is that so special?

• Our programs prioritize genuine connection and strong relationships. The amazing folks who support our programs share these ideals and are excited to connect with you!
• You are a trivia powerhouse and you want to show off your skills alongside your friends and/or colleagues.
• We all have a common passion: progressing the movement for equitable education!

But don’t just take our word for it…listen to Jen!

“When I attended, I was overwhelmed by the sense of community. I’d never been to an event that was just as fun as it was empowering. Open School students truly led the way! They mc’ed the trivia competition, a yearly tradition at Change The Game, and shared their lived experiences. Some Step Up cheerleaders even cheered as we were arriving. It was a night of good food, company, and solidarity among everyone who cares about the movement for equitable education. This is THE way to support Open School because it’s one of the rare occasions where donors get to build authentic connections with those they are investing in.” – Jen, event guest

So, let’s dress up, go out, make some great memories, and CHANGE THE GAME!
