How you will make contributions that matter…
In this role, you will apply highly effective communication skills, along with your experience and knowledge of current and equitable HR practices, to meet the day-to-day HR needs of this multi-program nonprofit. Your experience and comfort developing long-term relationships and partnering across the organization will be key to your success. In this role you will report directly to the Executive Director.
Key areas of responsibility in this role include:
Employment Cycle: Consistently apply Open’s HR systems and procedures to ensure the timely, accurate, and service-oriented completion of recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and offboarding, while seeking to improve the efficiency and accuracy of HR-related tasks.
Employee Relations: Develop relationships with employees across Open’s programs and teams and act as a key liaison between employees and managers, creating and supporting a positive relationship between employees and the organization. Act as a role model for Open’s culture.
Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefit plan (medical, dental, 403(b), Life/AD&D, Short/Long Term Disability, Flexible Spending Accounts, and Employee Assistance plans.) Support the development of competitive and equitable compensation programs.
Compliance and Risk Management
Support the Executive Director and other leaders to evaluate employment practices, risk exposure, and mitigating measures. Ensure policies and practices comply with state and federal laws and regulations and administer safety policies and procedures.

Compensation and Benefits
The starting salary range for this position is $55,000 – $70,000, depending on experience. Open offers a full benefits package including health care (medical, dental, vision), PTO, paid winter and spring breaks, paid holidays, FSA, 403(b) retirement plan with match, and disability and life insurance.
