GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:
The Transition Manager will hold principal responsibility for motivating, inspiring, resourcing, supporting, recruiting, and directing students in pursuing their ideal high school placement and adult career aspirations. The position relies deeply on developing community partnerships with partnering districts and their administrative offices, learning institutions, and families for each student before high school exit. Familiarity with assessments, scholarship/financial aid applications and digital portfolio development needed. High energy, positive approaches, demonstrated commitment to equity, familiarity with competency-based education, success in a variety of professional settings and broad experience in technology for career and college will drive this work. This position will teach two classes of Post Secondary success. It will also provide point to district partners and community liaisons for enrollment and student recruitment.
