Forty school administrators, teachers and counselors completed Open School’s new Equity Certificate Program, a challenging, personal journey for educators who are committed to attacking racial disparities in education outcomes. The Class of 2020 at Open School East is amazing. All 44 students earned a certificate of promotion from 8th grade and nearly a third of them advanced 4 or more grade-levels in math and reading last year alone. We are so proud of our Open School kids, advocates, and families!
