Open School East

Open School East is a high school in East Multnomah County that serves students in grades 9-12 with inclusive, culturally responsive, and personalized learning experiences. Our multidisciplinary curriculum combines social-emotional wraparound support with high-quality instruction to accelerate learning and support the whole individual. From trauma-informed mentoring groups to accelerated credit recovery, we help students thrive on their path to graduation and beyond.

Step Up

Since 2003, Step Up has helped students stay engaged and on track to graduate in public high schools across Portland by pairing each student with a dedicated Advocate and working in partnership with families throughout the program. Today, we serve students at Roosevelt, McDaniel, and Franklin High Schools, providing in-school tutoring, year-round academic support, and inter- and intrapersonal skill development.

Literacy Liberators

To address systemic and racial inequities in early literacy, Literacy Liberators is a community-based, high-impact tutoring program piloted in elementary schools across the Reynolds School District. Rooted in Oakland Reach’s Liberator Model, our program equips caregivers and local leaders with the tools, skills, and resources to advance literacy achievement and empower communities.
